No more bottled water
We were buying six packs a month. I fitted it in five minutes and the taste is nothing like the tap water we had before.
-
The flow rate surprised me
I expected a trickle like the filter jugs give you. It runs just as strong as before, it clearly doesn't choke the tap.

Does the job, but check the adapter
Very good buy. My tap needed the small adapter, it was in the box. One minute and it was running.
How do I fit it?
How do I fit it?
Fitting in 4 steps
1. Unscrew your tap's current aerator by hand (the metal piece at the tip).
2. Try the 3 adapters included and keep the one that screws on without forcing.
3. Screw the adapter onto the tap, then the Ozovio system on top.
4. Run the water for 30 seconds to flush the cartridge. Ready to drink.
🔹 Note: no tools needed. Everything is hand-tightened.
When do I change the cartridge?
When do I change the cartridge?
Roughly every 3 months, or every 1,000 litres for a two-person household.
The kit includes 2 cartridges, so 6 months of use from day one.
You'll know it's time when the flow starts to drop. The reminder card included helps you note the date.
Changing it takes 20 seconds, without removing the system from the tap.
What exactly does it remove?
What exactly does it remove?
The cartridge acts on over 200 contaminants commonly found in mains water:
• Chlorine and chlorination by-products, the cause of taste and smell
• Heavy metals such as lead and copper from older pipework
• Microplastics and suspended particles
• Sediment, rust and grit
The water keeps its minerals. This is not reverse osmosis: it does not demineralise.

Ozovio vs. a filter jug
A jug filters, but it makes you wait, refill it and find room for it in the fridge. A tap filter does the job the moment you turn the water on.

Leyenda
Layer 1 — Non-woven fibre
Traps the sediment, rust and grit your pipes carry along. It is the first barrier, the one that stops the rest of the cartridge from clogging up too fast.
Leyenda
Layer 2 — Coconut shell activated carbon
Captures chlorine and chlorination by-products. This is the layer that takes the swimming pool smell and taste out of your water.
Leyenda
Layer 3 — KDF filter media
A copper and zinc alloy that acts on lead, copper and other heavy metals released by older pipework.
Leyenda
Layer 4 — Anti-PFAS barrier
Perfluorinated compounds are the hardest ones to trap. This layer is built specifically for them.
Leyenda
Layer 5 — Fine retention mesh
Blocks the microplastics and suspended particles the previous layers let through.
Leyenda
Layer 6 — Outlet grille
Steadies the flow rate and spreads the water evenly. It is what stops the splashing and keeps you at 2 L/min.
Before and after
1 — Screw it on
Take the aerator off your tap, pick one of the 3 adapters included and tighten it by hand. Under a minute, no tools.
2 — Flush it through
Run the water for 30 seconds to activate the cartridge. From then on you can drink straight from the tap.
3 — Swap the cartridge every 3 months
You notice it is time when the flow rate drops. The swap takes 20 seconds and the kit already comes with 2 cartridges, so 6 months.
Frequently asked questions
Is it compatible with my tap?
With 99% of household taps. The kit includes 3 universal adapters that cover practically every thread on the market.
It is not compatible with pull-out spray taps, sensor taps, or taps with a built-in aerator that cannot be removed.
Does it drop the water pressure?
No. The flow rate stays at 2 L/min, practically the same as a tap with a standard aerator.
That is the main difference with a filter jug, where the water takes several minutes to come through.
Does it strip the minerals out of the water?
No. The cartridge acts on contaminants, not on calcium or magnesium.
This is not reverse osmosis: the water keeps its minerals.
How long does a cartridge last?
Around 3 months, or 1,000 litres for a two-person household.
The kit includes 2 cartridges, so you are covered for 6 months from day one.
Can I still use unfiltered water?
Yes. One small flick switches between filtered water and straight tap water.
That way you only filter for drinking and cooking, and you do not use up cartridge on the washing-up.
Can I take it off and move it to another home?
Yes. It unscrews by hand and goes back onto another tap in a minute. It leaves no mark and needs no work doing.
What is it made of?
Medical-grade 304 stainless steel. There is no plastic in contact with the water, neither in the body nor in the connection.
How do I know when to change the cartridge?
The flow rate starts to drop noticeably. That is the most reliable sign.
The kit includes a reminder card so you can note down the date of the last replacement.
How long does delivery take?
Free shipping. Delivery usually takes 3 to 7 working days depending on the country.
What if it is not for me?
You have 60 days to try it. If it is not for you, we refund you.
The system also comes with a 2-year warranty.
Do I need a plumber?
No. Everything tightens by hand, no spanner and no PTFE tape. If you can unscrew the aerator on your tap, you can fit it.
Does it work with very hot water?
The cartridge is designed for cold and lukewarm water. For very hot water, switch to unfiltered mode with the selector.
